FAQ & TIPS
Q. Why choose climate-controlled storage?
A. Severe hot or cold weather can damage items stored in storage units. Important documentation for your home or business, computer equipment and electronics, wood or leather furniture, photographs, books, clothing, artwork and other valuable possessions can be destroyed if not properly protected.
Climate control maintains a steady temperature of 55–80° using central air conditioning and heat. Maintaining a controlled environment minimizes risk of:
Warping, cracking and splitting
Rust, yellowing and corrosion
Mold, mildew and bacteria overgrowth
Infestation of wasps, mice, termites and other vermin
Q. Will I need to provide my own lock?
A. Yes. You will provide your own lock and keys, ensuring that you are the only one with access to your belongings.
Q. When can I access my unit?
A. Gate access hours are from 7 AM to 9 PM, 7 days a week.
Q. Does your facility have moving carts?
A. We have a variety of dollies, a pallet mover, and rolling carts to make your move convenient.
Q. Does your facility provide insurance?
A. No. We do recommend getting insurance. The Tenant should provide insurance coverage for the contents they place and store in the rental unit. This coverage may be provided as a rider to the Tenants own “Home Owners” or “Renters” insurance policy (the Tenant should check with their insurer to determine if such coverage is available), or buy a separate policy.
Q. Does your facility provide moving trucks?
A. No, but we would be happy to recommend some great moving and truck rental companies!
